It seems I'm mostly known for generating ambient world music and hypnotic meditative jams, but I read one too many grim headlines in the news recently and was driven to write a venting song. I didn’t want the song to be incessant complaining, so I added a good dose of sarcasm, dry humor, and hope.
The message is as tangled up as life itself. It’s a blend of cynicism and optimism, full of angst yet playful, a cathartic release and an appeal to default to love.
I drop some profanity on this one, just so you know.
Thanks for listening. Hope you dig it.

LYRICS:
VERSE 1
Another day on planet earth and guess what? There’s more grim news
People at each other’s throats for peculiar points of view
If we don’t quite see eye to eye then, @$#!%, someone might get mowed down.
Everybody pick a side, strap up, and prepare for the showdown
PRE CHORUS
Or surrender to all that is
Remembering love is king,
It’s everything, so you might as well have faith
CHORUS
Faith, I have faith
That this @$#!% up world will see a brighter day
I have faith, I might as well have faith
In getting through this @$#!% up world okay
This @$#!% up world
Might as well have faith in a @$#!% up world
VERSE 2
Day in, day out, I grind away, just to earn a piece of the pie
Nothing more than crumbs ‘round here so guess I’ll work ’til the day I die
If the plague don’t get me, something will, maybe drought, war, a wild fire
Gonna lock it down, protect what’s mine, that’s right, and max out my stockpile
PRE CHORUS
Or surrender to all that is
Remembering love is king
It’s everything, so you might as well have
CHORUS
Faith, I have faith
That this @$#!% up world will see a brighter day
I have faith, might as well have faith
In getting through this @$#!% up world okay
This @$#!% up world
PRE CHORUS
You might as well
Surrender to all that is
Dissolve into a love supreme
It’s all a dream, so you might as well have faith
CHORUS
Faith, I have faith
That this @$#!% up world will see a brighter day
Keep the faith, you might as well have faith
In getting through this @$#!% up world okay
This @$#!% up world
Might as well have faith in a @$#!% up world
Keep the faith
Keep the faith
Can you feel it now?
